As an acting, performing, and speaking coach for over 15 years, I now create educational programs, virtual masterclasses, and clinics for performers across the world. I work with choral groups, barbershop chorus and quartets, theatre companies, and individuals who endeavor to create impactful, memorable experiences.
MY STORY
I have been involved with performance and production since 2002, including acting, directing, coaching, and training. I holds his Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University and Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston School of Law, and I currently am a Chief Trial Attorney for the Harris County District Attorney's Office in Houston, Texas. As a trial attorney, on a daily basis, I get to practice my true passion: creating performances and stories that connect with audiences.
I am currently an adjudicator in the Performance category for the Barbershop Harmony Society, have been a lecturer for Harmony University International, and have been a certified theater adjudicator since 2013. My performance packages have been on the division, district, and international stages and I always strive to bring innovative solutions to performance to actors, singers, choruses, and quartets across the nation through my experiences and teaching.
I also remain active in the Houston theater community, including guest direction and creating clinics for High Schools and Middle Schools across the city and state to promote the joy of performance in youth.
COACHING
The vast majority of my work is done through coaching - as nothing is a substitute for individualized, efficient work. I strive to build relationships, expand techniques, and create a systematic approach to creating great work. While each of my classes helps build a skill, coaching helps refine our craft.
I work with individuals, theatre ensembles, singers, directors, and choirs to bring our story to life. Learn the techniques and skills to become the performer you always wanted to be.
